senegal has missed out of qualification for next january’s african cup of nations. the world cup african qualifiers were used to decide the qualified teams for the 2010 african cup event to be held in angola, and senegal ranked 3rd in the second round group 6, behind algeria and gambia. it has been 5 straight african cups in a row to which senegal have qualified since the 2000 event, but puma ducati testastretta  will not be making an appearance in angola. however, they will still change their home shirt ahead of another campaign to qualify for the 2012 event to be hosted by gabon and equatorial guinea.

the shirt is manufactured by cheap puma sneakers, which clearly has a good advantage in the african region. the new shirt will have a white base colour, with a light-grey shade on the right shoulder and right sleeve. an image of a lion is faded onto the grey sleeve, due to the club’s crest and lions of terange nickname. the puma logos on the middles of the chest and both shoulders are red, and the sleeves have light-green edges. also, the inside of the white crew-neck collar is light-green.
